Ariande sank to the ground at the edge of the forest. As much as she loved being back at Hogwarts, it was one of the few things that she actually hated about this place. She pulled her legs in, setting her bag in her lap. She dug around in the contents for a few moments before producing two books and a journal that looked like it had seen much better days. Ari dropped her bag to the side then before flipping open both books, pulling them to the side so she could easily see the contents while using her knee as a desk for writing in the journal. A small sigh slipped through her lips. Sixth year and she was still working on this mess. She knew that she should try to be optimistic instead of pessimistic, focus on the fact that she was still so young and had so much to learn. But it was a hard thing to do when you were faced with the forest every month. At the thought of it, she lifted her gaze back out to the dense trees. As a wolf she adored that place, but sitting here at the moment it made her want to run in the other direction. She was brave. But that didn’t mean she enjoyed facing one of the few things in the world that made her feel even more out of place. “Bloody curse…” She grumbled before opening her journal and staring at the last place she had left off. It was a rather detailed sketch of ingredients. Ingredients that were used to make the wolfsbane potion she took every month for days before her change. In these ingredients somewhere, there was a key. A key that she hoped would end this curse.
