Welcome to OATC, a post potter rpg set in 2024. With a 200+ word count, our site is a rapid fire site. This means our plot is always moving and you should always look at it for updates! It is currently October 2024 on our site. Don't forget to plot with everyone that you possibly can, we all love drama. Why else would we be roleplaying?!

Updates

FEBRUARY 14 - The month on the site has been changed to October of the same year, 2024! Prepare for the weather to get colder and for announcements about Halloween related events!
FEBRUARY 9 - New banner has been added to the site!
FEBRUARY 6 - Our first activity check has ended! Thank you to those of you that have stayed active and have continued to help make our site grow. Along with our "out with the old, in with the new," a new twist will be added to the site's plot soon!
FEBRUARY 6 - An important PM has been sent to all current members. Please read it when you log in. There are also only TWO more days until the activity check is up! If you'd like to save your characters, a thread will need to be posted.
FEBRUARY 2 - With huge amounts of guests and a large amount of members already, our activity check has been posted! Thank you to everyone who has joined, made wanted characters, and visited us! We are still in need of Ms. Shacklebolt and Scorpius Malfoy! We'd love if you're thinking of a new character or joining, to make either of those two.
JANUARY 21 - Thanks to the new members that have already joined us! So far, everything has went off without a hitch. If you're a guest visiting us and thinking about joining, we are in need of male characters! But again, we're looking forward to building this site with all of you!

areas in the dungeon include the kitchen, the hufflepuff and slytherin dorms, and classrooms. being dank and dark, most students only venture the dungeons if necessary.

the lower levels include the ground floor to the third floor: the entrance hall, the great hall, muggle studies, DADA, history of magic, charms, transfiguration, hospital wing, moaning myrtle's bathroom, the trophy room, and an occasional empty classroom.

the upper levels include the fourth floor to the seventh floor: the library, the prefects' bathroom, ancient runes, arithmancy, art & music rooms, the room of requirement, and the divination classroom.

being a castle and all, hogwarts has several towers; some of them in use, some of them are not. tower locations include: astronomy tower, gryffindor dorms, ravenclaw dorms, and the owlery.

students may begin visiting here when their third year starts. this village is just outside hogwarts, meaning it is in walking distance from the castle. many well known shops can be found here. these shops are often occupied by students who spend gold on candy, butterbeer, and many other things.

before the new school year begins at hogwarts, many students can be found here alongside their parents. having received their letters from hogwarts, they scatter amongst each other trying to retrieve each item that they need on their list of supplies.

if you take a wrong turn in diagon alley, you may end up here. this alley is eerie quiet even during the middle of the day. a lone student may run into trouble when they are in this alley. some stores that sell dark magic items are here though it is unlikely that any hogwarts students would want to explore here. correct?

the glorious city of london is the location where many of hogwarts' students live during the summers. it is a notable city for most wizards and witches where they can find the leaky Cauldron among other places. many wizards and witches work in this city where the headquarters for the ministry may be found.
