Today was Valentine's day. Everywhere he went there were couples roaming the streets hand in hand. The words I love you plastered everywhere. And all these things made his heart ache. He was alone. Completely alone in his two bedroom apartment. One he had upgraded to when he had been told that he was going to be a father. Not only did Valentines strike the heart for the painfully single male, but also it left him wondering where he and Persephone would have been if they hadn't lost their child. The child that he didn't know to be a little boy. Unable to stand being alone any longer he did the only thing he could think of, and that was to apparate to Persephone's dancing studio in Italy to spend time with his single friend whom he loved.

As he slid into the hall he was submitted to an all too familiar sound. A sound that he had personally experienced. His legs went from beneath him, his heart hurting even more as he clutched at the side of his face, digging in and harming the skin as he clutched at the side of his face. Why did he do this? Why did he do this to himself? Why couldn't he move on? Find someone else to love completely rather than torture himself like this? Rather than endlessly worrying about what she thought of him?

Suddenly the sounds changed to raised voices and the concerned lover took over. He got up on his feet and made his way to the door giving it a slight jiggle. It wouldn't open but that didn't matter. He had an advantage that Persy didn't. He had the advantage of magic. Non verbally he casted a charm which would unlock the door and the moment that he heard the click he pushed it open. His eyes landed on the man first. Her boss. Her director's naked butt. Oh how he wanted to teach the man a lesson, but he couldn't he had to check on Persy first.

He ignored the throbbing at the right side of his face and locked eyes with Persy, the hurt clear in his eyes as he gazed upon her naked form. Something he had seen before, even though the memory was a bit foggy.
