Aaron was not surprised about Mel wanting to talk about her childhood. He figured it would happen eventually. The only part about this that he was surprised about was that she was ready to tell him about it now, which he felt was admittedly early compared to when he thought she would've wanted to talk about things. Then again, an early warning as to what he might be getting into was what some people felt he should have gotten already. For his part of it all though, he just didn't care, almost like a Hufflepuff in that regard. Then again, his laid back attitude normally would've put him in Hufflepuff had he not been eager to learn. That had faded though when he realized how much studying he was going to have to do in order to really get anywhere in his learning.

Arriving at the lawns, he saw Mel sprawled out on the ground. He had been surprised when she agreed to become his girlfriend, mostly because of how her personality was, and the rest of it just that he was always afraid of being rejected. He just never let it show since that wasn't who he was. Heading over to her, he smiled as he sat next to her. "Hey," he said simply, waiting on her response as he watched her momentarily before looking towards a bird flying off, not wanting to make her uncomfortable.
